FACILITIES
Our training facilities adopt international standards to ensure training provided meets the actual operational effectiveness, versatility and performance. Relevant to our core service, here we strive to provide conducive environment for AW139 simulator training.
The facilities available are described as follows:
AW139 FULL FLIGHT SIMULATOR "LEVEL D"
AW139 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) “Level D”, certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The AW139 FFS is the New Series 3000 upgraded to the latest software phase 7.0 and jointly manufactured by CAE and Leonardo Helicopters and enriches the list of FSTD worldwide available to Leonardo Helicopters clients.
VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE PROCEDURAL TRAINER (VIPT)
The VIPT is a static simulator, PC-based system that replicates the AW139 and AW189 cockpits using touch screens and allows training in the use of individual systems and of integrated systems. The VIPT is capable of simulating all aspects of flight using the aircraft's automatic flight control system. This is effective for MCC Training, Glass Cockpit, first start up and first system checks and locations of aircraft equipment.
MULTIMEDIA CLASSROOMS
The training environment at PWNE features the best multimedia classrooms tuned for effective trainings and top-level concentration. Our standard classrooms are fitted with training aids including Interactive Smart boards, projectors and computers.
BRIEF / DE-BRIEF ROOM
Pre-flight briefing rooms will be a routine discipline among many for trainees as they prepare for the simulator training sessions.
PLAYBACK ROOM
Fitted with recording-playback of their simulated training flights, trainees are given total hindsight and visual analysis of their own performance, allowing for immediate improvement rates and optimal results.
FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The Flight Management System (FMS), a specialized computer system that automates a wide variety of in-flight tasks, calculates most economical flying speeds and altitudes during flight and to identify possible choices of emergencies, is made available for our trainees.
PILOT LOUNGE
The lounge at PWNE allows for an academic, open-network rest and refreshment area for trainees, instructors while preparing for the next training itinerary. Available amenities are:

SNOOZE ROOM
Rest spaces, or snooze rooms, at our headquarters allow trainees reprieve to recharge and refocus in between instructional lectures, briefings/de-briefings and intensive test missions.
